Why the hell does the SPA give the king 219.6 million rupees???? The people have fought to get Kings power curtailed but these corrupt SPA reps are still licking on the kings ass. Why does the king need that much money. He already has billions of dollars. As constitutional monarch he should be given maximum 100 times what the Prime Minister makes. 219 million is just too much. Why isn't there protest in the street for this. Are nepali people really bhedas?

All the powers of the king have been stripped publicly. If the SPA is the real representation of the democratic movement, they need to have the strength to strip the King of all the excess money that he's getting. When they started stripping him of his powers I had a little faith in the SPA. But now, with the budget speech, giving the king 219 million rupees??????? What the hell!!! Just give him a millon rupees that's more than enuff

Saroj, 219 are separated for palace not king! There are people working in Palace. Who is going to feed them? 219 is not king’s salary. 219 includes- royal visits, entertaining foreign delegates, security etc It would be ok not to give that money to king if that could solve the underlying corruption in the system. It would be ok if you do not set aside budget for royal affairs if there was no king. If there is a king then you need to take care of the affairs. And I know there is lot of people in sajah who doesn’t want king .well answer to them... SPA will keep it... You wait and watch…you know that more than me I guess and talk about change in Nepal. As if anything is going to ever change in Nepal.
