No, we Nepali can have an active discussion forum about it. Don't you think we will gain more knowledge by knowing what people think about innovation rather than knowing their view on Bahun, Chetri, Newar, Baishaya or even Hinduism.

Even if i have an idea.. why would i tell you...very crude way of saying but the truth..
the discussion like above you mention is so broad and generic any body can say anything there is no patent involved..

voice activated , start system, on a car. ....that would solve all this car theft.

another one, a key pad or something in a car, where you get to select how much can you speed, so when a parents give thier cars to their teen children, they get to set the speed limit....45...the car would never go more than 45.

that surely ought to prevent few accidents.

This is what you guys don't get, I am not urging you to tell me your idea, I am just asking people to share something about innovation. Just think about it, as an active participants of Sajha forum have you ever discussed something beside politics, backbiting people, and blaming others. Isn't it time for us to think big and come out of our own mishaps. We always blame others for what happen to Nepal, but have you ever in your life tried at least to do something that give you right to say that "Yes, I have done something, and these people are crazy that they are just messing with things that I have built for them."
Discussing about innovation doesn't mean you have to tell everyone your innovative ideas. Its about making people think in innovative way.

yes like that, lets say that we build an integrated system within your home, a phone that can turn on your car in winter, there are so many things that are truly innovative, no one is going to patent your thought. After all your thoughts are yours, share a bit of it, not a whole lot.

IMI, innovation doesn't mean that you create something new in technology, you can be a business person and be innovative.

You know mansion I was listening to IBM podcast and I really found it interesting, we are really advance in technology, the only thing that we are missing is the art of integrating those technologies. What do you think?

your idea of switching car on thru telephone.. but don't you already have remote sensors that does it via key..
there is two way to do this.
1]call the phone number dial certain number then with pressing your code they activate your car .. from remote place.
2]putting a remote control in your telephone..
no.1 -- additional service required which is not uncommon..cause you should be knowing that they have systems like external controling of the car from remote places.
no.2-- What is the difference between remote control being in key or phone.
