Dear Friends!!!

Mukti and Revival was the featured band for ANA 2006, and is currently touring US and Canada.

We are very pleased to see positive responses from various cities including smaller cities (where there are fewer Nepalese). For example, it was the first time that Birmingham, Alabama (Base Camp Martini Bar and Lounge) hosted a major Nepali concert. The band played two shows in Birmingham (as a matter of fact the band is playing right now at Base Camp Martini Bar).

We also wanted to do shows in two other cities such as Denver, and Boston, and apparently its not working out properly. I m sure both of those cities have fans for Mukti and Revival. May be its the board members who haven't heard of the band (Just a speculation). However, Estes Park is organizing a concert for Colorado and trying to get crowd from Denver, Boulder, and surrounidngs including Europeans from Estes Park.

I have alreday talked with some people(association) in Boston, but no word from them yet in doing a show. There is however some people who wants to do a show. Therefore, if anyone is interested in helping to organize the show then please contact me and I can give you the contact person in Boston. He desperately needs help.

The tentative date for Boston show will be August 21st before the band leaves on Aug 23rd. So far their last show will be in New York after Toronto.

By the way the band will be covering West Coast in next tour.

Thank you and please visit Sajha.com or Nepalisite.com for updates on their tours and other details including music videos.

Thank you for your time.
Nischal.

I knew they will come to boston. That's why I didn't go to their concert at ANA.

"apparently its not working out properly. I m sure both of those cities have fans for Mukti and Revival"

May be the fans themselves should organize the show if other organizers are not interested.

Some of the artists have set bad examples in Boston. May be the same concepts lingers.
Most of the artists are too dependent upon the hosts.

I think you should put forward some terms and conditions to make it better, like their expectations, travelling and fooding arrangements, sharing of the profit (Well Boston has experienced losses in many of the concerts and from the organizers point of view, organizing concert is NOT worth the effort), sharing costs for hall rental, insurance etc.

Make a contract and possibly will work out.
