How ethical is it, Maoist joining the government without decommission of their weapons? Is the international community going to support that government? I think Nepal will fail as a state, if Maoist insists on being both rebel (by keeping own army and weapons) and a governor.

Over 50% of Nepal’s budget depends upon foreign loan and donation. As international community (USA, UK, India, Japan etc) has already announced that they would not support the Nepalese government, if they include Maoist without decommising their arms, how long the government could survive with mere internal resources?

Let’s see, why Maoist want to join the government?
1. Moaist wants to send the message to the International community that they are the political party not a terrorist.
2. Moaist will be more powerful by using the national resources.
3. Would be able to nullify the king’s (whatever left) power and would control the Nepalese army.
4. Would demand for the leadership on government after some period citing that the government is not functioning with peoples’ mandate.

SPA would bow down to Maoist for any of their demands but not the international community. I feared Nepal will be the second Lebanon if Maoist (Hezbollah) goes to government with all its weapons.
