Two of its demands in the 40-point list were: The domination of foreign capital in Nepali industries, businesses and finance should be abolished and the property of middlemen and comprador capitalists should be confiscated. When Deng Xiaoping was called back to power in 1977 to rescue China from the ghost of Maoism, one of his first far-reaching actions was to open up China to foreign investors, dubbed China's Great Leap Outward. He famously said: It doesn't matter whether a cat is black or white as long as it catches mice. Soon China became a darling of foreign investors. Today, it is poised to become the largest economy of the world. Prachanda, however, still seems to be obsessed with the color of the cat. Source: http://www.ekantipur.com/

I don't think Prachanda is a leader per se......He's a wanna be.......He better read "How to be a Leader 101".......As of now, he is riding on the power of weapons...That's the sole reason they don't wanna give up weapons.....Have you guys seens his interviews/speeches?? Its laughable to say the least....
