hey all

i would like to ask some question about identity theft...if some one knows my social
security number how can he use that?? i mean how can he/she harm me by using that SSN

and how can i know wheter is using my ssn or not.

They can use your credit if they can get your DOB with SSN. Unfortunately, you can't change your SSN.

You won't be able to know if he's using your SSN until you find out that your credit has been ruinted or something. And even then you can't file a complaint if the credit use is less than $1000.

So, I would say just keep his name in mind and if something happens you can report him as prime suspect.
