I just want to see some views on Federal Goverance if possible in Nepal not? why there should be federal or why there should not be federal govt. in Nepal? Please put you inputs. As for me :I used to think federal govt. would be good for nepal but seeing the tension it has created in Terai.I am more oppose to it now.Nepal should be one and united . 1] This will loosen the national unity 2] Nepal is too small to Have federal systems 3] Inadequate homework and Communist are going to take unnecessary advantage 4] If , Nepal is divided accoring to Jati , then more discrimination 5] Not able leaders , insuffcient infrastucture.

(lets leave the the role of violent protestors for a moment)? put it other way round what would you do if you were GPK or sitaula in the present condition sorry for little deviation from the topic but this question is playing in my mind and i dont have a real answer to it??

Chyame kancha..I don't know what they are doing but let me tell you this. These people cannot lead Nepal to a fair federal structure. These opportunist politicians will just talk as they see that whim is state .They will cash this opportunity. They are not true leaders. Special :Narahari Acharya. This guy will take Nepali congress with him when he dies.Being closer to communist is not going to Help NC but will have no value. One hand Same Maoist who started the revolution for Jati are not willing to talk to Madesis. That is the most funny part. All the Mao supporters should learn something from their bastards leaders. The true color of these mao leaders. Nepal cannot implement Federal system as parties themself are not democratic.Equal Representation and opprtunity is possible there are alternative ways. But First Lets start equal and fair representation from these parties. And NC - Nahi Accharya(hmmm...we have enough from this jati ..he should quit and give his seat to Chaymee:))

Nepal, the size of American state of Arkansas, is too small a country to warrant a federal system of governance. The current structure of zonal system is adequate, but it needs to be refined to allow for more efficiency iin distribution of power thus service delivery. Most important we need educated and visionary proletariates to fill the key positions across Nepal.

I Agree with Jyapoo.Nepal is too small to be Federal .what would be the size of a state??how are you going to divide Nepal?May be the alteranative are to distibute Budgets according to zones.Increase Partcipation of Jati and Janjati in Buerocracy of Zonal Level.Even Parties should be fair and equally represented. Nepalese leaders lack vision and strong leadership ,It is most like that when dividing into state , they will divide Nepal for good. They should not attempt things that they are not capable of desigining and implementing.

I heard two people talking to BBC Nepali programe on the same topic yesterday. Narahari Acharya and Surya Prasad Shrestha. Since yesterday, Narhari Acharya was ideal leader in Nepali Congress to me. I realised I was misconcepted once I heard the programme where he was not being able to point out a single good reason to go for Federal Governance. Instead he gave one weird example of USA being more united after making federal governance. How this man forgot USA making its major population from the migrants? How logical is he to compare USA with NEpal, where indigenious community are living in certain fixed part since long time back and many of them are raising the issues. While Surya Prasad was saying it as a slogan of politics by misconcepted leaders to make them popular. He pointed out it as a complicated process warning that it could be the sole reason for the country to be divided. He gave a relevant example of Yugoslavia. His logic clearly points out the present day going unrest in Nepal. I heard Narhari Acharya making this slogan big among the Congress since the 2nd people's movement. He was trying to make this issue hot and make his identity different among the congress leaders. Now I realise this man trying to beat up his drum without good experience, study and thought. This kind of leaders can easily mislead the country because they are themselves missing the paths. The present day Nepal is a result of past misleadings of such fool leaders. I realaise there should be good political division, and election should be held on the basis of proportional representaion. The policy of decentralisation should be clearly implemented. Budget should equally divided among each division. This could help Nepal prosper and united. Long live Nepal!

Narhari Accharya , Pradeep Giri are two respectable leaders of NC. They are far greater personalities than other chors of NC but though these leaders are idealistic .their idealogy would not really help NC and with their guidance whole survival of NC is at stake. So, as for me these leaders cannot go further up. As for the dicusssion in BBC, Dr. Surya Prasad Shrestha is very correct and cautious.where as Nahari shounds wimsical.Without proper design no one can implement federal system in Nepal. And the techinicality so hard that you can't just satisfy everyone and everyrace. Blame of this whole slogans goes to maoist .Now, these are against Madeshis..Politics!! WE WILL BE DIVIDED IN 10 YEARS , WE WILL INVITE MORE TROUBLE IF NEPAL ADOPTS FEDERAL SYSTEM.NEPAL SHOULD REMAIN ONE AND UNITED!!

There should be a panel hearing on this movement as well and all the SPAMMERS should be interrogated. Dont u all agree? And, the present govt give away the power. We should go back to Monarchy. I am dumda$$es will be opposed to it, but it is the only option, or else-start filing asylum in the US. U wont be able to go back to Nepal.
