hi guys
a group of my frens from here (north america) are going to nepal in august and probably spending most of their time in pokhara. since i will not be joining them due to my university schedule, i want their trip to be safe and worthy.

i dont have any friends or relatives in pokhara to guide them (my home is in village quite far from pokhara and people dont know how to speak english).

they are planning for a round annapurna trek and if possibly a jungle safari in chitwan. (this is what i suggested them and hoping that terai is cool these days), how does it sound??

since i dont have much idea on good hotels around lake side area, can anybody suggest a good hotel and a trustworthy travel agency who can provide guide and porters for their trek as well as manage the chitwan trip.

any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

regarding hotels, it depends on what kind of budgets your friends have.
i suggest not to go for cheap ones from people at bus park or airport.

the good ones there are
hotel kantipur
hotel barahi
shangri-la
fishtail

fulbari resort might be too expensoive

and i think you can make a online booking in these hotels.

i have no idea about travel agents but your hotel might be able to do everything you need or they might recommend something good
