ss74K, hajur le garda hari halyo ni :(...chhhuchi!!!! khai mero 74k dollars? :P amanush, of course--that's natural! what else do you expect then? :P Here's what I genuinely felt: It's not like what it seems. It's not that this AUS team are too good. The other teams are not just good enough!!! The very fact that we didn't get to see one single great match in the whole tournament is the proof of it! To me, 1999 AUS side were way better than this! Yeti bhandai ma aafno 2 shabda yehin nai tungyachhu~! :D

ho ni freak bro!...i don't see any single match from this WC that i would remember for a long time. i even believe that this WC is the worst one i've ever seen, personally and i guess, many would concur with my opinion here. this WC will be remembered for sour reasons like the murder of Bob Woolmer and early exits of good teams like IND or PAK and a long (to some extent boring) super 8 format. there were too many minnows to begin with. some matches like those you've quoted were worth some attention but again, there were not many of them and certainly not towards the end of the tournament. barring AUS and SL and to some extent NZ, i didn't see any other teams performing to their full potential consistently which brought about a not so great (in fact a dull) show. i still remember WC 92 for the semi finals between NZ and PAK and between SA and ENG. i do remember 96 WC for the crunch semi final between AUS and WI and between SL and IND and of course the IND PAK encounter. i remember 99 WC for the classic back to back encounters ( including the semi) between AUS and SA. unfortunately, there isn't a single match that i could stamp in my memory from this WC. don't you think so?

Bhutra ko SL lai cheer up garne! jasle jati gare pani no one can do anything to stop AUS. But, there's 1 solution. Let's use as much as fuels, natural resources, coals etc, so that global warming will increase, than what! AUS sinks, SL sinks, IND sinks, UK sinks and Nepal will play Cricket on the top of everest.....we will be the World champions!!! kasto lagyo ta Dimag Kharab ko IDEA!! huh

. I do not fully agree with the above statement. Upsets of known teams like India and pakistan by uprising teams such as Bangladesh and Ireland were something for spectators! Those matches were undoubtedly to be remembered for bangla and Irish teams. Cannot expect bigger teams for miracles and excitements always!

Though Lanka team lost this game, I praise their performance. They played good inspite of bad pressure and poor weather.

Flips, agreed but partly! okay let me open up more on this...i didn't like the format of this WC in the first place. there was too SMALL margin of error for the teams in the first round and A BIT LARGE in the super 8. that to me is ridiculous! a tournament should have lesser margin of error for the team as the tournament progresses see, IND and PAK performed poorly in 2 matches and they got kicked out. in the first round there were 2 test sides (or strong teams) and 2 minnows (or weaker teams). if a stong team loses ONE match against a weaker team, the possibility of them getting kicked out is SO FREAKING HIGH! now if you look at the super 8, even when a team lost 3 out of 7 matches (as south africa), they could still make it to the semis. they could have still made it with 3 out of 7 wins if other teams had poorer run rate! and as i previously said, super 8 round was too long. they could have made it super 6 just like in the previous WCs and made the first round a bit longer and a wider margin of error for each team perhaps.

loote..when did u ever see a world cup winning team needing that kind of help. A winner has always been clean winner..so was the game exciting? what better than srilankan reached finals..they deserved to get there. As for my expectation on NZ , i was expecting too much but if NZ and Bangladesh keep up they are next stars.

. But the rest of the team did go through super Eight. India and Pakistan deserved early exit for their performances. Gotta play right from the start, no matter if it's a knock out or finals! About super Eight, I bet ICC did not come up with nothing in mind! Aru kehi bhannu cha? If yes you are more than welcome. Hehehe

. Btw, writing in bold and fancy letters not necessarily hold strong points. If the content itself carries strong opinions, even the simplest letters/appearances are noticeable. Btw, with what in mind you said "Aussies are not too good"? It is either you were unable to digest their super-dominance or you were frustrated by your team's early exit! LOL
