I see no point in Madhav Nepal thanking India for the reinstallment of democracy in Nepal. UML should be thankful to the Nepali people and the martyrs who laid their life in the revolution against the king. these political parties are taking the trusts of the nepali people for granted. What is UML trying to do by thanking India?

Nepal meets Sonia Gandhi
NEW DELHI, June 6 - The visiting UML team headed by UML General Secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal Wednesday met various India leaders including Congress-I President Sonia Gandhi as part of their ongoing high-level New Delhi consultations.

Talking to reporters after the meeting, Nepal said that he had thanked Gandhi for India's assistance in reinstating democracy in Nepal during the meeting today.

The UML leaders said that the two sides discussed the latest political developments in Nepal while India expressed commitment to assist Nepal to hold timely Constituent Assembly elections.
Earlier, the UML team had met leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha Lal Krishna Advani in the Indian capital.

The meeting, which began at 11 this morning at the Bharatiya Janta Party’s parliamentary party office, discussed political issues of Nepal, a participant of the meting informed.

The team will meet Indian Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee at 5:30 this evening and former Prime Minister and Bartiya Janta Party leader Atal Bihari Bajpai at 6:45.

According to UML leaders, they will discuss the future of monarchy and Hindu state with Bajpai and take his views regarding the same today.
