Anyone from Shimla?? I viviidly remember representing BCS for the soccer matches and also the Afzal Khan basket-ball tourney at Doon. There were a few Neps at Doon then including a good friend from Sikkim who attended SPS with me prior to that. Also, the soccer matches against RIMC were always in our favor then...Hell, we were distrcit soccer champs (beating out the best local clubs and representing Shimla at the Himachal Pradesh open soccer tourney). BTW, Wellham Boys were nowhere in the sporting scene back then.

Doon, Modern Indian and Woodstock were the Basketball powerhouses at the Afzal Khan. Yeah, Danger bro, CH was there at the tournet too and as per my earlier post some time ago, we beat ya'll by around 50 points :D :P All good!!

Enigma, since you gave your ICSE/ISC around '99. did you come to BCS for the Inter School Athletics in '97?? You'd have seen me there taking all the accolades (2 gold, 1 silver)...still got that cheap medals at home. BTW, AHS?? Auckland?? 4 of ma cousins were all Auckies (batch of 98).

No, never ever took up debating, so Slater was outta the question for me....but did have one of the major roles for the school play though ("Tughlaq"). Originally, there were 5 of my cousins but 2 dropped out after class 11 as Auckland according to them was "too strict and they fed them only potatoes". LOL Only 3 of them returned for class 12 (the manange girls). My parents kept harassing me to go meet them every outing we got (which was every Sunday since I was a school prefect then), so I went to visit them twice the entire year!! hahahaa Your fete was pretty good too then. Sadly but honestly, we Cottonians were more into the Chelsea chicks and the St. Bede's girls were the holy grail. LOL No disrespect. BTW, Are you in contact with any Nep/Tib girls at St. Bede's from back then?

Yeah. AHS had some girls who were hot (Ruchi Rai was one of them) but your school uniform made them all look like bears (brown and yellow). LOL You're right about the food as all my cousins gained a lotta weight there (thanks to all the aloo). Also, you guys were half the world away from us and since Bede's/Chelsea was closer, we visited their campus a lot. It sucks that there was no jam/social session during our time with the Auckites…However, did have my share of fun there. Do you know Tashi and Shruti from Bede's ('98 ISC)? They were good friends of mine but've lost contact ever since. BTW, was on some Indian media web-page the other day and saw that Shruti's hit the Big tymes in modelling…damn, wish I'd have stayed in India. LOL ;D ;D

Here's some really old article on Shruti. Also, she was one of the '2007 Kingfisher calendar girls (all Indian men's fantasy come true! hahah).
