u might wanna check if the laptop charger supports 220 or whatever volt of nepal coz some laptops have chargers so designed as to support  both 110 and 220 ..but if its not u mght wana check out transformers or volt guard that supports both 220 and also converts to 110..probably in ebay would be cheaper..if u go to nepal and look around u will find one but costs like rs 5000. so yea..u know wha i mean right?

I took my dell laptop to nepal couple of months ago. The adapter supported 110~220 volt so I didn't have to use transformer. Just read those small letters on your laptop charnger and if you need a transformer, get one from radioshack for $29.99. Don't get one from e-bay because you won't know if the transformer works until you go to nepal and use it and if it doesn't work... you can figure that out yourseelf!

the Adapter itself converts the amount of current need for the device...so dont need to be worried.....
