I am taking IELTS test for Canada Test. I would like to know from you about the test type. Is it General type or Academic type for the Canada PR?

never give wrong information if you are not sure. go to www.cic.gc.ca and read what they say.
abhagi be confident that its a general test and is a piece of cake. no need to worry. go through some of the previous test questions so that you know the format and that you can manage your time effectively.
having said that if you have a previous IELTS test scores (not older than a year), either general or academic will work. however if you are appearing for the fresh test, do the general one.
