Deuba loses the race, gets only 113 votes
Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Sher Bahadur Deuba lost the race for prime minister.
Deuba – the three-time former prime minister – managed to bag only 113 votes in his favour when the proposal to elect him as PM was put before Constituent Assembly (CA) members, Friday evening.
On the other hand, 438 CA members voted against Deuba.
