I remember Prachanda a week early said he will dissolve the YCL within 3 months. Now there will be no YCL. Good one prachanda.






YCL earns democratic epithet, will become YCDL


The
meeting of the powerful organisation department of the Unified
CPN-Maoists, Saturday, decided to change the name of its youth wing the
Young Communist League (YCL).


The YCL – which has
come under criticism from various quarters for its militant and often
violent activities – will now be changed into YCDL (Young Communist
Democratic League).


The change in the name will be endorsed by the central secretariat of the party, soon.


The meeting also decided to change the names of various sister organisations.


The names are being changed following the unification of CPN-Maoists and CPN-Unity Center Masal. nepalnews.com Jan 25 09

Very Good. If they change the name then there will be no more attack by YCL only by YCDL lol.
