In this battered economy, even the wealthiest states are hitting double digit unemployment rate and jobless-rate has direct correlation with the happiness level of their residents. With the lowest unemployment rate of only 4.2%, Nebraska has been declared the Happiest State in the nation as per the video below.

The Happiest Place in America

When you drive into Omaha via Council Bluffs, IA a sign display prominently which bears "Nebraska..the Good life". The meaning of that phrase could never be clearer before.
Cheers to Nebraskans (and to myself since I too have a connection with that Great State).

Good Life Indeed. People don't spend more than they could afford in Nebraska. I think this is the main reason, they are doing well. Plus people are awsome here.
