Its time to act like BIRGUNJ PEOPLE Birjung,c 06 Ma|y 2010: Locals burned down, Maoist Camp. After constant, threat, vandalism, donation terror and extortion Locals of Birgunj couldn't take any more and taken up LAW in their hands. Local groups have burned down the Maoist camp and have set on fire a pick-up used by Maoist to transport FOOD for their cadres.

Birgunj update: Locals have surrounded Maoist protesters and attacked them. Police fired tear gas to control the clash. In ktm, Budhanilkantha locals have geared up with rods and sticks to open their shops and business against Maoist. Maoist protesters are also heading towards Budhanilkantha, Police has already been deployed in the region to avoid possible clash.

- Heavy clash between Maoist Protesters and Hindu Youth Group in Birgunj. Govt. had to announce curfew and later lift it after control.
- Locals geared up against Maoist protesters within Valley: Jorpati, Basundhara, Kirtipur, Boudha, Buddhanilkantha, Balaju, etc. And in various places outside the valley.
- Maois|t leaders met Ambassadors from US & India. They also had meeting with CPN (UML) but nothing fruitful came out of it.
- Curfew imposed in Dhankuta and Humla fearing clash between Youth force and YCL.
