Hey guys,
Hoping for suggestions here...Currently I am in NYC.. planning to do masters in Baruch College...They don't allow people with accounting degree to get admitted in MBA in accounting.. So I am thinking of doing MBA in taxation and getting ready for CPA too... what do you guys think? Anyone has done masters in taxation... How is the job market?
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.. I am in big confusion at this very moment regarding masters program....

If you're already working towards your CPA cert, then the prep materials will probably cover more than (and including) what's in the MBA Taxation or Accounting, no? Unless you're working on fulfilling a certain state's educational requirements, or have a need to maintain student status, you'd be better off concentrating on CPA exams and finding an accounting position to cover the CPA work experience requirements... I think!

No, I am not working toward CPA at the moment. But I am planning too.... I am thinking of doing MS in Accountancy....and in the mean time preparing for CPA...So, I will have Masters and CPA too... I dont have to be full time student too...
