राष्ट्रिय क्रिकेट टोलीद्वारा कुनै पनि खेल नखेल्ने घोषणा
क्यानको नेतृत्व परिवर्तन गर्न माग

२७ चैत, काठमाडौं । ट्वान्टी-ट्वान्टी विश्वकप क्रिकेट खेलेका १६ सदस्यीय नेपाली राष्ट्रिय टोलीले एकदिवसीय राष्ट्रिय क्रिकेटसहित सबै प्रतियोगिता नखेल्ने घोषणा गरेको छ । नेपाली टोलीले शुक्रबार पत्रकार सम्मेलन गरी नेपाल क्रिकेट संघ क्यानमा नयाँ नेतृत्वको माग गरेका छन् ।

पत्रकार सम्मेलनमा नेपाली टोलीका कप्तान पारस खड्काले नेपाली क्रिकेटलार्इ अघि बढाउन क्यानमा नयाँ टिम माग गरे । हामीलार्इ यो व्यवस्थापन चाहिँदैन । ‘यदि नेपाली क्रिकेटलार्इ अघि बढाउने हो भने क्यानमा नयाँ र सक्षम नेतृत्व ल्याउने यो नै सही समय हो-उनले भनेका छन् ।

खेलाडीहरूले भन्दैमा क्यानको नेतृत्व परिवर्तन हुने नहुने थाहा नभएके भन्दै उनले भने-हाम्रो माग सरकारसँग हो । हामीलार्इ नयाँ क्यान चाहियो ।’

विश्वकप खेलेर आएपछि खेलाडीहरूलार्इ कुनै वास्ता नगरिएको भन्दै खेलाडीहरूले माग सम्बोधन नभए राष्ट्रियसँगै वैशाखमा हुने एसीसी प्रिमियर लिग समेत नखेल्ने अवस्था आउन सक्ने बताए ।

राष्ट्रिय खेलाडिहरूले विगत ८ महिनादेखि तलब पाएका छैनन् भने पछिल्लो पटक सहभागी भएका तीनवटा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय प्रतियोगिता खेले वापतको भत्ता समेत पाएका छैनन् । नेपाली क्रिकेट टोलीलले बंगलादेशमा भएको ट्वान्टी ट्वान्टी विश्वकप प्रतियोगिता खेलेर स्वदेश फर्के लगत्तै क्यानसमक्ष आफ्ना माग पेश गरेको थियो ।

खेलाडीहरूले मलेसियमा हुने एसीसी प्रिमियर लिग क्रिकेट अघि भइरहेको राष्ट्रिय प्रतियोगिता राजधानी बाहिर सञ्चालन गरेकोप्रति पनि असन्तुष्ट रहँदै आएका छन् ।
विभिन्न क्लबमा रहेका रहेका खेलाडीहरूले आफूहरूमाथि विभागीय कारबाही गरे त्यसका लागि आफूहरू भोग्न तयार रहेको वताएका छन् ।

This is a systematic issue.

We have the old generation (doesn't mean old people, just having the old mentality) occupying various positions in Nepal without having any qualification for the position. People without any knowledge of management and Cricket should NOT be in CAN.

Cricket has proven to be a very important sports for Nepal, it has brought us together unlike any other subject. It is high time we give a little more focus and importance to our sports. It's also time to cut our expenses in staffs overload (paying for their visit to Olympics etc) and focus on the players themselves.

Paras has gotten all the fame and I doubt that he desperately needs the meager salary; despite all that he has stepped up to be a good leader. If this is not a priority for the ministry of Sports, then what is? If there's a FB page dedicated to support this endeavor, sign me up as well. Maybe we can start an online petition to show our solidarity and support for the team? This is everybody's issue, not just the cricketers. If this is hushed down, cricket or any other sport, will never flourish in Nepal.

नेपाली क्रिक्रेटको बारे धेरै बर्ष अघि देखि जानकारी राख्दै आएको छु | व्यक्तिगत रुपमा भन्नु पर्दा जुन बेला क्रिक्रेट टुँडिखेलमा मात्र हुन्थ्यो, जहाँ खेल यसरी हुन्थ्यो कि खेल भैराख्या बेला स्लिप एरियामा बसेर क्रिक्रेट हेर्नेहरु थुप्रो हुन्थे |

सबै भन्दा पुरानो एसोशियशन हो , क्यान | ३-४ दशक सम्म जय कुमार नाथ शाहको एक छत्र राज थियो | शाह ६० नाघी सक्दा पनि राष्ट्रिय टिममा विकेट किपर थिए | अन्य पदाधिकारीहरु पनि क्रिक्रेट खेलाडी वा अन्य खेलकुद क्षेत्रमा लागेकाहरु नै थिए |

नेपाली क्रिकेट टिमको अन्तराष्ट्रिय पहिचान भए देखि यसमा राजनीति हाबी भएको हो | हालै मात्र जिन्दगीमा कहिलेइ क्रिक्रेट नहेरेका , न बुझेका सिन्धुपाल्चोक हो काभ्रे को माओबादि कमान्डर टंक आङ्गबुहाङ्गलाई अध्यक्ष बनाइएका थिए | साथै तत्कालिन प्रधान मन्त्री बाबुराम भट्टराइ ले आफ्नै छोरी लाइ समेत ल्याए | मेडिया मा धेरै बिरोध भए पछि राजिनामा गरी | अझ प्रचण्ड कु-पुत्र समेत क्यानको सल्लाहकार छन् अहिले |

बन्दूक , बम पड्काउनेको नेतृत्वमा केही पुराना खेलाडीहरुले सम्झौता गरे | तर ती क्रिक्रेट बुझ्नेहरू एकातिर भए भने न बुझ्ने लडाकुहरु यकातिर | यस्तो अवस्थामा क्यान एउटा युज्ड बियरको क्यान सरि नै हुने भए ..| धन्न पारस खड्का एण्ड टिमले अनेक अब्यबस्थाको बाबजुद राष्ट्रिय गौरबलाई उचा राखे | संसार भरि चन्द्र सूर्य झण्डा फहराए |

त्यसैले नेपालि टिमको माग जायज छ | क्रिकेट बुझ्ने कुशल ब्यबस्थापकहरु  देश भरि छन् | समर्पित व्यक्तित्वलाई क्यान सम्हाल्न दिनु पर्छ |

Lets show solidarity with our cricket team.

daum, before you post such title, may be you should learn how cricket has been played in Nepal first. These cricketers kept their future in line when they stuck to this team even in dire situations. They have to look for source of income elsewhere regularly. So, they either open their academy, become sports teacher in school or whatever. Now they aren't even paid what they have earned which is against the labor law. A player isn't paid for injury he incurred while playing for his country. And still the players are performing and playing.

This political appointment in CAN has been worse for cricket development. They don't have vision. We all depend on ICC/ACC fixtures for tournaments when we should be inviting and playing against Afghanistan, UAE, Ireland etc. Have you even seen CAN's calendar ? CAN even doesn't have a calendar ! Where is the Mulpani ground ? Look at the situation of TU Ground. You must have heard the embezzlement about the grant provided by ICC.

Did you know this batch of cricket team, Basanta, Paras, Gyanendra and Sharad were the most elite group in under age group and kept playing for the country though their counterparts left the country. And mind you those who left were equally talented. Had they stayed, imagine where we would have been now. Or, for now, just appreciate what these cricketers have done and show the solidarity towards them rather than posting such BS title.
