hi, I was born on Sunday, today I wanted to cut my hair which is Saturday tonight but its's literally Sunday in Nepal. My mom used to tell me not to cut hair on Sundays which is my janmadin. So tomorrow is Sunday here but Monday in Nepal. I need to cut my hair as its very long and wild, and don't want to look bad in Las Vegas. so can I chop off my hair on Sunday here in USA? sometimes they say you can't shop on mondays, if you do on Tuesdays, then you have to sacrifice part of clothing or merchandise to fire.

Nope. You cannot. Unless you want to invite all the evil power to your life. Listen to your mom, she knows what she is talking about. Please refrain from hair cutting for the entire month of Kartik until middle of Mangshir. Also, don't wash it for next 10 days.

Cutting hair on the day in which you were born, cutting the nails in the evenings especially facing north, cutting the hair a day ahead of travel, cutting the nails in the mornings especially on a pirka, cutting the hair on pradosh days and days when you see a black cat, cutting the hair right after lactation or three days before ejaculation, cutting the hair on the days you ate chicken (if you are brahmin), pecan nuts (if you are a christian), sparrow (if you are any other religion) are considered carnal sin.

Anyone know real christians are more religious than hindus? Make some real christian friends then you will know they believe in all sort of crazy stuff like us. The christians you meet at the restaurants and bars are like you i.e don't go to church every sunday. converting to christianity is like saying हे भगवान in english oh my god. lol You neither know about hindu belief nor christian belief. Suspended like a pendulum in the middle. Mankind is evolved around superstition. लु आज तेरो इन्टरवु को दिन जाने बेलामा जुत्ता उल्टो देखिस के गर्छस अब :)

The reason you cannot shop on Monday has been verified by the science of Numerology.

M = 13 : 1 + 3 = 4
O = 15: 1 + 5 = 6
N = 14: 1 + 4 = 5
D = 4
A = 1
Y = 25: 2 + 5 = 7

If you add the existing numbers ie 13,15,14,4,1,25 you get 72 which is 7 + 2 = 9

If you add the sub numbers ie 4,6,5,4,1,7 you get 27 which is 2 + 7 = 9

According to the Numerology science if both additions result in same number then the Day is self-preserving, it should begin and end with same equivalent property hence accumulation of objects through shopping is considered to be bad luck.
