Well looking at the vandalism in KTM, itýs evident that there were other motives in place. I donýt know if we will ever know what those motives were; business competitors, maoist or just a jealous neighbor. However, this unfortunate event in Iraq is definitely a boost for Maoist movement. http://www.maoist.org, Prachanda is trying to send out a message not to leave Nepal in search of work but instead work for their cause and make a living staying in Nepal. Unfortunately in some case, that makes sense. Working for Maoists is probably safer than having your throat ýhalalledý while the Nepalese government was in Nepal Time to take any serious actions.
Lack of leadership is really pushing country to the ground. Government canýt create jobs, working offshore doesn't provide securityý I think the answers we seek to our questions are all laid out in front of us. Unless the younger leaders emerges there is nothing going to happen. Unless we create jobs and focus in creating sustainable economy, we will continue to hear similar stories.
The irony of situation is, majority of Nepalese working abroad are involved in Hospitality industry. Imagine if we could get out S@#T together and the country had focused in creating sustainable hospitality industry within Nepal?? K garne! Even though with immense potential infrastructure, the nation and the citizens are suffering.
