Please note that sajha does not encourage the mutilation or modification of member photos featured in sajha site.
When members agree to post their pictures to share with the sajha community, they are not giving anyone permission to play with their pictures. Anyone who repeatedly continues to do so is in violation of the general sajha code of conduct. At sajha we believe in being flexible and lenient regarding accidental outbursts or once in a blue moon kind of misbehaviors. It is only when certain users begin to make it a habit of posting such materials, that censorship takes place in the form of deletion of such material. The deletion is a very visible hint to the user that such postings are not acceptable. If the user wants to sidestep the policy then there is a direct conflict of interest between the user and sajha policies.
This is in response to Bhanja's posting, incidentally which was deleted, regarding sidestepping the censorship in sajha by opening another website to post manupulated pictures of people featured in sajha.
At sajha we have always promoted a sense of belonging and we have always stressed on the fact that one individual's freedom of expression should not impact negatively on the freedom of another to exist without any form of unwarranted harassment.
Regards,
San
