Right now in Canada it doesnt matter if you are gay or not.
In fact in Toronto gay bars are hot and popular place to hang out no matter if you are gay or straight.

I'm a straight person and I dont mind having drink with other straight guys and girls in gay bars. It's simply a trend or a hip statement.

Can you ever imagine George Bush going to a gay parade ? Well a former Canadian prime minister in 2003 already did. Toronto's city police chief joined the gay parade this year in Toronto.

Gay parades is a big event for both gay and straight people held each summer in Toronto and other cities in Canada.

I have been to gay bars as well, just for a laugh, though I am absolutely straight. I also agree that lots of straight people go to gay bars too. But its real fun to see these stragne guys, looking so much like girls, and dancing somehting like spiderman in teh email that was traded quite a lot.

As long as you tell them that you are straight, it sould be ok. Once, apparently a gay guy, asked me if I was okay. I said I was ?absolutely okay?. Later it turned out that in fact he had asked if i was gay. Bloody hell, i had some explanation to do theere.......

Same here in Australia. Being a homosexual is no big deal here. It's pretty much widely accepted. I have couple of gay friends and I love them. Too bad they R not straight...haha! But I don't think I am being open minded about this homo stuff cause as much as I enjoy having gay friends...I definitely don't want my kids or any one in my family being one. Yep, it's contradicting all right.

I dont see any problem with gay neither see any threat. It is possible that homosexuals fill a niche in nature, just like left-handed people.I don't have any science to back this up, it's just a thought: Homosexuals aren't a threat to heterosexuals in the competition for breeding. As a hetero male you could safely leave a gay guy at home to tend to the women and children while you were out hunting. And I know at least two gay guys who have had sex with women nonetheless, so they CAN send their genes on even if it might be rare.

I think sexuallity is a sliding scale and no matter how far to one side you are, you're able to move to the other side if needs be. Throughout history this has been proven by heterosexual people in prisons and monasteries, and I have yet to meet a gay person who couldn't think of having hetero sex with the right person and circumstances.

The orginal intent of posting the link was to have fun with the gay-o-meter - but it is indeed interesting to read people's reactiona. It's also heartening to hear about attitudes towards homosexuality in Europe and Australia and how people feel about it. To be fair, the US is a divided country on this issue. Most of blue-state-america is closer to europe in its thinkng and acceptance of gay rights and the greatest resistance to gay aspiration has typically come from red-state electorates.

well every human has tendency of being gay.......either male or female........while after working in food and beverage industry.........those gay phobia desapair like black clouds...........coz u work with them and u party with them along with all sexual person...........hongkong is cool with gays ppl well, i am not one of those rather i prefer selfservice than giving my ass.....................i do have lot of gay and lesbian mates like most of the nepalese working in food and beverage.
another thing if u are good mate and linked with gay mates............u never go out of jobs..........they are in good position and they have money. I swear if u have one very good gay mate and u open a club, bar or restaurant.........i swear there link will help u to make lot of greeen..............gay are good for business coz they spend more than straight guys......
