I am also planning to go Nepal in May. I just checked with the website of http://www.asaptickets.com and it shows $1130 on Cathay Pacific. But when I aksed with them by calling toll free no. they told me the price will be around $1700.
I am totally confused with this.

I was checking airfare for someone who wanted to travel in June 10.

I found really good deal through ORBITZ.com around $1135 after taxes. I think it is the best deal one can find online.

The downside was that it had some long period in transit and on top of that it was transit in India.

Anyway, try your luck through ORBITZ .com. Airport code for Tribhuvan Airport is KTM.
