Hey guys: I need to buy a cell phone that is compatible with Nepal Telecom. I came across this phone called Audiovox 4100 which i like. But do you think it will be compatible. I have no knowledge on technology stuff so if there are cellwizzes out there in Sajha, please help me out. Thanks a lot

Do you have any idea if it's a Quad-Band Phone or not? If it is, then it definitely works. If it's a Tri-Band then it should have 900 GSM if you're using it for Nepal Telecom and I think these days they have Mero Mobile which has I guess 900 and 1800 GSM.

Oh..It's a Tri-Band Phone with 850/900/1800 GSM. If you're going to use Mero Mobile then that might help!

Make sure to unlock the phone . If it is latest mobile then unlocking is very expensive in nepal.

Yes! Thats another important thing.If that phone is from any service provider like T-Mobile or Cingular,make sure you unlock the phone.If it's not.. then I dont see any problem in using that cell phone. Have a Good Day!
