June 1st. Hurricane Season Starts officially. We are already in hurrican season now. Last year it was worst. Congratulations to all those who survived last years's hurricane season.

Traffice Jam in Houston was really bad. I remember my friends were stuck in the middle of Houston and Dallas. It took 24 hours to reach to Dallas from Houston. They had to leave their Car somewhere in the middle.

New Orleans was affected badly as well. I don't have much Idea about Nepalese friends in New Orleans.

Floridian, all the best this time. We are pretty used to Hurricanes, Ain't it??

CaMoFLaGeD : New Orleans was affected badly as well? You are making this statement so lightly as if it was Houston/Dallas suffered the most because of hurricane last year! It was, in fact, New Orleans that was hit worst because of hurricane Katrina. Traffic jam between Housto/Dallas was nothing compared to over 200,000 homes destroyed in New Orleans alone! Over 1000 people dead! New Orleans is still reeling due the hurricanes last year and it will take over 20 years to get New Orleans back to Pre-Katrina situation.

I totally agree with you. I have never said that the traffic jam was worse compared to what happened in New Orleans. I just wanted to say that I don't know any Nepalese friends in there and don't know what might have happened to them.

I was so interested to visit New Orleans but never got chance to. Even when travelling from Texas to Florida I had used I-12 and by passed it. Now I regret it.
