Introduction
Cricket has always been a great tradition in Nepal and in sprit of that tradition, a web based Fan Club (call it a discussion forum or a blog) has been established by a group of cricket fans under the banner of NepalCricket.com. There are fan club members inside the country and aboard who have been encouraging other and discussing various matters of Nepali cricket. The initial goal of the FAN CLUB is to unite the fans of Nepali cricket for discussions purpose. The Fan Club will be registered and will act as a non-profit organization providing opportunities for professional developments, and support programs for cricket and cricketers. It will also lobby and facilitate the mainstreaming of cricket issues as national agenda.
Vision
The vision of the club is to make cricket Nepal’s favorite sport; favorite in terms of participation, interest, popularity, attendance, viewership, merchandise and helping the country to become to a successful and respected cricketing nation in the World.
Objectives
1. To bring together cricket fans nationwide and spread/exchange information and ideas.
2. To foster cooperation, interaction, trainings, network collaboration through tournaments, publications and other media.
3. To help protect the rights of cricket players and provide necessary advice to cricket related organizations and government.
4. To organize various events, tournament for the development of cricket in Nepal and development of players skills.
5. To represent Nepalese cricket at national and international level to build the network and alliance and establish the network with national and international Cricket Organizations for the development and improvement of cricket with effective monitoring and evaluation.
6. To create and provide opportunities for Cricket Players within the National and International Club.
7. To research on the cricket for its development.
Jobs
1. In full consultation and cooperation with the respective cricket Board, media, private organization, government, and others to manage and be accountable for the integrated delivery of a single long term strategic plan for cricket for development across the Country
2. Establish and maintain a single, integrated and effective plan
3. In full consultation and cooperation with the National and International Cricket organization to Manage the production and ongoing review of a single strategic plan for all cricket Participation levels in Focus Clubs, Schools, college and others
4. Establish a process of continuous operational review and improvement planning
5. Ensure effective local communications and planning through establishing a country wide network of Regional/District cricket development Groups
