Hows things? There has been a lot of changes. I havent made my presence felt, but rest assured I have been keeping myself updated. Three cheers to ppl at BRT and a big hand for ppl in KTM to follow suit. And all the fanmembers.
I have been hearing abt all this Bidhan and other boring stuff, thoughr very important! Let me put my views forward for some more fun stuff!
I have read comments by various members on various websites, and I am happy to see them all so dedicated and defending their country! From here on I can only see the country going forward, that is in the cricketing world.
Which brings me to my point of talking abt fun stuff. I have this thing in my head, we almost forming a ‘Barmy Army’ type fanbase. For some who dont know barmy army, you can go to the following link…http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barmy_Army.
Basically, its the traveling fans of cricket fanatics of england who support their country. I know we cant travel whereever our country plays, but hey we get a few fair games in our country! So why not be more upbeat, take flags in the ground, painted face, and of course sing songs? We have loads of those blood boiling songs, like RATO RA CHANDRA SURYA, and others which i cant remember now…but can be found at the back of NEpali course books! Trust me this can make the game much more interesting…I did if myself when Nepal beat Malaysia in the final of U-19 in 2001. We went around around the ground, on the space between the railing and the ground shouting things like, JEET KASKO, NEPAL ko. NEWZEALAND KO TICKET KASKO, NEPAL KO. And trust me it has a wild effect on the crowd, beside appearing in the national television and few newspapers!! Wut a bonus.
Also I think we shud have a name. I have thought of RHINO TRIALS. Trail is sth an animal leaves behind with its paws or hoof. We have rhino in our logo, and Rhinos have been mentioned couple of times. And as we are always behind our team, just like the trails left by animals, why not call ourselves, THE RHINO TRIALS, or if anyother has brilliant n creative idea.It cud help us in the future, with merchandising fan club stuff.
I hope we work hard at getting our country to the top level, but party harder. Hey its a suggestion, and if u have things to add on to make it better, pls feel free.
