Seriously, airport in Paris is just amazing. Its full of tunnel. If you have to change terminals then you have to take bus. Instead of saying gate number, they say "satellite" number. According to my knowledge Gulf airline's counter is in satellite 5. And yes, people in the airport barely speaks english. Here is the picture of the tunnel in the airport. This picture is taken by myself when i visited Nepal during the winter break.

Nobody speaks English at Paris Airport .....This is not true..

All young people and Airline Staffs speak enough english
to explain you the way to Terminal 2B.
If you carry a Airport Map which you can get in INFO at Entrance,
you do not need to ask anybody there..
Mumbai or JFK or DFW are much bigger and complicated.

Sayami is right. All the airlines people speak English. Not to mention, if you are taking Gulf air then they have American Airlines as their code sharing. The people at the AA counter in Paris are very friendly. And also, there are a couple of Indians working at AA. So, as long as YOU speak English YOU have no problem. Be polite and act decent. I have taken that route few times. I love Paris ;)

.oh my bad!! didn't follow this thread.

okay when I said "nobody speaks english", I meant "most of the people we came across couldnot understand or speak english". I had to use sign language to ask the driver if the shuttle bus was going to Satellite 5. He shaked his head and we read it as NO. Then all the troubles started. There were like 6 of us including some pakistanis passengers. We all had to work a lot to find the departure area. Later we knew that the shuttle bus was going to the Satellite 5.

It was a hell of an experience.

Those tunnels are awesome!!

I think it will be fun time, if you find some other passengers and you have atleast 4-5 hours of transit.

Have a safe Journey!!

:-)

You have to know first Terminal Building 1,2,2A,2B.......3A,3B.
So now the tunnels... all directions to Terminals are clearly written everywhere.......
If you do not know where you are going it can be problem even in Kathmandu Airport.
.
Please go to the Website and do some homework...
Most of the French people in CDG Airport speak English.
Telephone: 00-33-1 4862 2280 or 1212
You can call this number or go to info desk in any level front or back,
they all speak english. It was different 10-15 years ago. Now globalisation has pushed french people to speak English.

Tunnels are made in a way that people do not get lost and can reach the teminals without being confused. All you have to know is your terminal..no.
If you have some extra hours you can drive to city and drop by Moulin Rouge or spend a night in Paris in pigalle. Cheapest Hotel 50-80$ a night. But it´s worth. Paris is a great city.
Very Important: When you go to INFO DESK or BANK COUNTER: you please do not put your briefcase on floor.
