When all the political leaders including Octarian leader GP Koirala, so-called community leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Incompetence Sher Bahadur Deuba, Maoisit Prachanda and baseless Surya Bahadur Thapa, suprisingly unanimously agrees that CA election cannot be held even in November because of deteriorating security situation in the country Why are they still blaming King for causing trouble in helding CA election??? Are they saying all the groups causing law and order erosion are King's men?? Are they saying YCL, Madesi Forums, Mukti Morchas are all supporter of King?? What are they actually saying guys?? Are they simply hiding their own incompetence by making King 'bali ko boka' as he is unpopular any way or they simply fear that King may comeback in his form anytime and punish them for their wrong doing??
Leaders claim eroding peace and security situation making polls uncertainity
KATHMANDU, July 9 - Leaders of the major parties of the coalition government Monday claimed that “uncertainties†regarding the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections were rising due to the weakening peace and security situation in the country.
They further said that if the peace and security conditions did not change till the elections then the CA polls will not be result oriented.
Speaking at a programme organized by Press Chautari in the capital today, Nepali Congress (NC) leader Binay Dhoj Chanda alleged that the home ministry had failed to check the rising criminal activities in the capital. Adding, due to the “insecurityâ€, excitement regarding the polls was not seen in the public.
UML leader Raghuji Pant advised the Maoist leadership to “mend the party’s ways†and control the violent activities of its youth wing Young Communist League (YCL).
He further suggested the government to control the rising violence in the Terai.
Maoist leader Dinanath Sharma commented that CA elections were not possible until and unless the peace and security situation in the country improved. Adding that the “justified demands†of the agitating sides should be fulfilled before the polls itself.
