I'm sorry for adding one more thread in Prashant Tamang.
Warning: please don't read if you're seeking to read perfect english in sajha.
We talked too much about him, and I agree that calling him a a pride of Nepal, and all other nationalistic words were a bit too much. I'm and will always be the fan of him. Reading the blogs and posts of indians in their forums showed that very few of these indians supported Prashant. They were trying to be nice, but it made me mad going through these posts. Some of the things I noticed:
- John making a sad or disappointed face after glancing through a box; he went to see the name again, so I'm not sure whether he made the face after seeing Prashant's name as winner or before it.
- Alisha throwing a 'khata', given by Prashant's mother to ground and making a face.
- This must be the first time all the judges hinted that Amit should win.
- Judges like Javed and Alisha went publicly saying that 'Amit should win'.
- Anchors of the show, Hussain and Mini supporting for Amit publicly.
- Amit was awarded the car even if he lost. (I personally think that Amit is a very good singer and deserves all the best, but the decision to him a car was made instantly; so I doubt that Prashant would never be given a car had Amit won the contest).
- Rumours saying that Amit has already been invited to bollywood with several lucrative contracts and Amit's fans are saying that they'll not buy albums of Prashants, and neither the bollywood is going to accept Prashant.
- I realized something bitter since Richa episode.
- Now this RJ Nitesh Kumar guy is saying 'Choukidaar se idol tak'
- Many Amit fans said, Prashant may be nepali idol, but not the indian idol
We were bashing Prashant supporters earlier. But what about nepali musicians promoting indian contestants, not only indian idol but also other indian musical contestants. Read the following:
Music Director: Sambhujeet Baskota
Movie: "Kaha Bhet Hola"
Playback singers: Udit Narayan Jha, Shaan, and almost all the participants of the program
SaReGaMa and Voice of India contestants Maauj and Priyani.
