 US, UN, India and China say on CA Election

US:
The US embassy in Kathmandu also congratulated the Nepali people for the successful election to the constituent assembly. "After nearly a decade since the last general election and more than half a century of demanding the opportunity to elect representatives to draft a constitution, the voters have spoken," the statement said.

UN
UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, has congratulated the people of Nepal on holding the election in a generally orderly and peaceful atmosphere.

India
Indian External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherji on Friday said that he is pleased at the peaceful holding of the constituent assembly elections. Issuing a release on Friday, he expressed congratulated Nepalis.

China
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China said in a statement that the Chinese side is delighted to see that the CA polls in Nepal held smoothly.
