All those people who support communist gives the example of China because they can't find better alternative. I know Maoist court runs in similar way but i have hardly heard any other Maoist getting punished by their court.

Up to 374 people could be executed in China during the Olympic Games, human rights activists claimed yesterday. They will be among the estimated 8000 people put to death in China each year, according to a new league table complied by Amnesty International.

China officially used the death penalty 470 times in 2007, although it is feared the true figures is a lot higher. The human rights group called on athletes and International Olympic Committee to press for greater openness about executions in the host country. Nearly 70 crimes in China can carry the death penalty including tax fraud, drugs offenses etc.

"As the words biggest executioner China gets gold medal for executions", said Amnesty's British director Kate Allen.  On an average China secretly executes 22 prisoners a day. That is 374 people during Olympic games.
