I'm getting tired of receiving spam emails from DCNEPAL and nepalhorizons. I am wondering how they got my email because I never subscribed there. Isn't it illegal to send unsolicited emails?

email is a public record....but they should give you a choice to opt out .....if they don't then that's illegal....

Even if you unsubscribe through their link (sending email back with "remove" in subject) that's not gonna work. I added "nepalhorizons.com" domain as spam, and it's fine now. They are sending emails starting from the month I stepped into US, that too in my .edu email!!! Following is what they write at the bottom, but they keep sending emails even after you unsubscribe. The
