It's high time that local measures are taken to thwart extortion and threats.

Every
locality should have a meeting to set up some kind of alarm as soon as
any extortion activities is sighted or is deemed imminent. The alarm
would be the signal for local people to come to the street and show
their solidarity against these anti democratic actions that undermine
our freedom and the future of our country.

The alarm could be
banging on pots and pans like using drums to drive animals away in the
jungle. It would send twofold message 1. for locals to come out and
show solidarity and 2. to send the extortionists the message that they
are not welcome.

We have all heard of few localities fighting back. This needs to be more organized to give better results. Get the word out. Bang on pots n pans or whatever is in sight.

Lack of action can be perceived as support so action is needed. Don't just be a passive bystander waiting to be victimized speak up now and prevent yourself and your dear ones from being victimized.

These maoist want to rule by making life miserable for the millions of people living in Kathmandu. Families with sick people or people who require constant medications are beginning to witness the cruelty of this maoist mass atrocity. The indefinite strike is nothing but a calculated and cruel step taken by the maoists to make hell out of the citizens life until maoist supremacy is accepted and they get to do anything they want.

The maoists who are willing to make hell out of the lives of millions living in kathmandu by cutting off their basic requirements by imposing a blockade on transfer of basic good such as food, water and medicine and redirecting these amenities to serve their hired hands bruoght in from villages so they have nothing to lose, how can you trust these maoists to rule us?

Hospitals are running out of supplies. Oxygen is running out. Supplies are being depleted. Maoists are treating the people of kathmandu like rats. They are trying to smoke them out like rats until the maoist rule is established.

This has to be stopped at any cost. The concerned people need to be proactive about it now ... or never ...

Terrorists have hijacked the country and unfortunately the government does not seem to be able to do much about it. So it's time the hostages wake up and eliminate the hijackers.
