Hey guys I m Trying to invite my mom for visitation not for graduation. She was here for my graduation last year. But now she is trying to Visit me for a while. I would really appreciate if i get some requirement and process that need to be followed. Thank you

If your mom came for ur graduation last year, she should have received a 5 year tourist visa (that's what my mom received, and she is visiting me this week for the 2nd time with the same visa). So, in my opinion, your mom just needs to buy her flight ticket and come here.

Thank you relax_singh but the thing is that she was issued with only six month visa. i dont know why they only issued 6 months only. she need to apply for new one again so i m looking to get some info what need to be done? thank you again

I guess, her visa will be valid for 5 years but to stay in USA was valid for only 6 months that was approved at Port of Entry. Just send her a letter and some financial support to show that you will be supporting during her stay, again at port of entry the Immigration officer will decide how long she can stay in USA.

thank you bhojpure01 unfortunately, the expiration date on the pass words is Nov and the issued date is 05may 2009. what sorts of document should i send her to process visa. i cannot send my financial status as i m student.
