Nepe ji characterized my eye: Jaundiced Eye. Nepe ji characterized my dimag: khusket. I did manipulate Nepe ji's jpg file using my so called (based on Nepe ji's observation) Khusket Brain and Jaundiced eye. This is called an illusion. In safety engineering you need to know how illusion can cause an accident. The dark part if looked carefully, you will feel it like classical pillar (if it was drawn little bit smoothly), while it represents two mirror images. In fact, there is one very famous picture where a wine looks sometime like two mirror images and some other time it looks clearly a wine glass. So, I wanted to portray here an ilusion out of Nepe ji's hidden sculpture. Last but not least, I did not mean to spoil this thread. But, just to have fun. GP

The cup and mirror image: (I apologize that I don't know the source of this picture. I got it as part of safety manual when I worked for a construction company). GP

Poignant as always, Nepe ji! Aha GP, but ofcourse! What else can one expect of you? You neither have the ability to appreciate Literature nor the imagination to create one. Your "clever discovery" of the illusion has been manipulated countless times, in schools, preschools, by artists and jokesters--- no sir, you have not re-invented the wheel of manipulation. You sir, are a proof unto yourself... a living proof of superb ignorance!

Khuda ke ghar der hai par andher nahi.. Afterall GP ji found a line to appreciate and right away proved Sitara wrong. ehehe ! Anyway, GP ji , it had absolutely nothing to do with the illusion you so kindly and elaborately described. And it is absolutely necessary that the two figures, on the left and right, must be different as they were supposed to represent a kurakani between two people. ******** And thank you, Rein, Whyhappy and Sitara. I wrote this ghazal a long time ago when I was young but still skeptic about the notion of romantic love as a unification of two hearts. I used to think and still think that no matter what, love can not be more than a bridge, still with some space, between two hearts. And this piece was my attempt to celebrate that bridge without really denying the space it is in, let's say in contrast with the most popular love songs' understanding of love as a unification, dissolution, surrender, possession and so on. May be love really is what they say. However, I am still skeptic. I am ... I don't know... I am confused at best.

Thanks god and thanks to Nepe ji who I guess read the last two sentences in my earlier posting: "Last but not least, I did not mean to spoil this thread. But, just to have fun. GP" When peoples are prejudiced, they see things completely upside down. I did not see Nepe ji's kabita upside down, I saw it as it was there. Haina ra Nepe sir. GP
