Ever been in a situation where you learn that your roommate, or the guy you go bar hopping with, or the guy who proof read your English essay, or the guy you met during your summer job and later became good friend, is a Maoists or their supporter? The same Maoists, who came to your house in the middle of the night to extort money, threatened to kill your parents when they claimed they did not have the amount and now they fear them most and you concerned about your parents? security, the same Maoists that have turned your house to a prison for your family with installation of multiple locks in the doors and barbwire on the wall, grills on the windows, the same Maoists that have made your family suspicious of every stranger that walks to the front door of their house.
So what do you do now? Do you start to hate this friend, roomie or an acquaintance of yours? Or do you forgive him for his beliefs no matter how people of similar beliefs have hurt you? What do you simply do?

And remember when the political mess in Nepal gets cleaned up, and everybody rises from this dark age, we will find ourselves in similar situation. There will be situation where your neighbor killed your old father or your policeman brother, when your army friend killed your close comrades. How will these people live together? Or can they?

Really? Then there wouldn't be hell in various religion or prison in modern world, since the sinners are not accountable for their sins. That's easy, isn't it? For the sinner, I mean.

What happens after life is unknown?Does heaven exist or for that matter hell?It does they both exist in our minds.Sinners will suffer and they will learn the consequences of their evil deeds.Guaranteed.We are punished in our psyche.I have personally felt that way after displaying irrational behaviors.Trust me experiences have taught me that valuable lessons.
What religion teaches especially empty beliefs supported by dogmas are false period. There is no heavan or hell.We are rewarded for our actions here on earth while we live here.
Hatred simply brews hatred and the endless cycle will doom us eventually.

I had read this from osho times about a decade ago. A painter was trying to find innocent face to make his portrait. After wandering for long time, he found one gothala in grazing land. He's got that pure n' innocent look with whom the painter got satisfied.

After few decades, the painter again thought to make a portrait of devil. He went through all the prisons but still not satisified. But finally, he saw that scary n' devil face in one prison. He made a painting of his picture.

But the painter was amazed to see both persons were the same.

Moral of the story: We can't judge people by merely by their one deed. The person being your closest friend or being most helpful to you get tempted to kill you, and your enemy may come to donate his/her kidney to save your life.

We are living and changing constantly. I hope that we'll be able to change from that devil face to innocent look again.
