IS THAT A LIFE
A fat black woman, blinking eyes wedged me
I was restless and spellbound.
She asked me for cigars and papers
I handed her then I raised a question?
Why do you need cigars and papers early in morning?
She whispered but smiling she's got HIV Aids
How she was infected was my another question
Some body broke into her house and raped her
The transmission of Aids was her issue
Shocked and desperate, I was feeling her words
She had a pretty smile but tears hidden her face
But She still walks like a millionaires in a pub
Her gentle words and living enthusiasm touches my heart
She's got few days and nights to live
But she's yet happy and desperate to live further,
Fights with disease and life everyday
Then I ask myself a question" IS THAT A LIFE?"
