Hello Sajaites:

Anyone know about how the Nepalese Consulates in USA handle it if the passport is lost or expired and holder applies for a new one?

You knowledge/experience will be appreciated.

Thanks

You can call Nepalese embassy in DC. They can renew passport. For new or lost passport, they will ask for citizenship.

Check out this

Peace.

They will generally take about 2 weeks for processing, but if you are in a hurry, you can simply call them and they will process within 2 days. Send return stamped envelope or provide them with your FedEx (best option) number. They will take care of every thing themselves, no worry.

nepali embassy brings typical nepali style of doing work plus i do not know how this ambasador and the workers are selected to work for Royal Nepalese Embassy in Dc.
it's matter of time before the Nepalsese Embassy buildings would be blasted by the bomb.
