hi all,

does anyone know if Thailand visa is required for staying in Bangkok airport transit for 22 hours ?

i am flying to USA...
tomorow afternoon out i leave from KTM to BKK and im planning to stay in the airport for the 22 hours while i wait my next flight...

i remember a little when i bought my tickets that the guy said u need a transit visa for stay overnight or something.

any information is appreciated.. thanks all..

No, you don't need. I came 3 weeks ago via Bangkok where I had 14 hours transit.

As far as I know, you don't need transit visa if you are staying for less than 24 hours in transit at Bangkok airport.But it's wise to check with Thai Embassy once.

U DONT NEED ANYTHING... JUST DONT CROSS THEIR PORT OF ENTRY AND UNLESS THEY TRY TO GIVE HARD TIME.. THEY ARE ALSO CORRUPT LIKE NEPALESE AND INDIANS

My friend is going to SAU and he is supposed to be flying around same time with you.

Anyway regarding transit, you don't need visa as long as you stay inside the airport.
But if you wanna be adventurous and hanky pank which Bangkok is well know for then you need a VISA to step out of aiport.

This implies to all the countries you are going to transit.

Anyway have a safe good trip. And yes don't carry any liquid stuff.

i got the problem fixed... i got the transit visa just in case... it cost rs 1500

maybe i'l need it..

if u are spending 24 hours or more then u need visa otherwise u don't worry.
