ICC Champions trophy... for me India was the favourite,, altough they dont even reached the semis....
WI side was amazing to comebacl from a baf form and proven themselves ICC championship specialist. last time also they came of 4-1 home lost against england and came to england to win the trophy.Chris Gayle showed his brilliance as an all rounder through out the seris.
Aussie team showed why, they won all the major trophy till date. Although the kangaroos start with loss, they came back hard against all team, they deserve to win. Shane Watson was the best finding for Aussie. A genuine all rounder.
NZ, the dark horse of every tourament. Lost against a nail biting match against arch rival Aussie in semis. Skipper Fleming, showed his brilliance with his bat and turned matches in their favour.
South Africa, rided on Makhaya Ntinis back to came to the semis, but a very improved side and showed their brilliance. a team having few good allrounders. Pollock, Kallis, Boucher, all can perfom very good given them task.
India, the host, a very much hoped team but a very dismal performance. Rahul dravids side has been struggling lately. Can only manage one single win against injury hit England. Irfan Pathan must be thinking about his future.
Pakistan, a very unpredictable team. Beaten badly by SA. A team hit by too many problems. Ball tampering, Captaincy doubt of Younis Khan, Missing Inzy, Doping row..... May god help them. A good athlete finished his career --- Shoaib Akhtar.
SriLanka, a highly hoped team, although came from qualifying. New influential skipper with support of vetrans Jayasurya and Murli would have dome much better.
England, a injury hit side, worsen by the captaincy dispute. one of my fav butneed to improve in one days .... Worst hit by injury with 6 of regulars out of the team... they should have include Monty as spinner given the sub continent condition. I wish they could save the ASHES.
Banlgladesh... ZIM need to improve a lot... although we have seen much improvement from the tigers...

After all this.. I wish Nepal to win the ongoing match against UAE at UAE.... nepal need 205 to win in the last day of 3 days match with 33 for 2 at the end of second day.
