Popular RJ and media personality Prasan Syangden is leaving for the US on 3rd March with the objective of participating at "A special program for the youth in media and their contributions". Titled "Wired For Change, Generation Next”, Prasan is scheduled to be in America till April. Youth from 13 other different countries will also be participating with a representative each to be held at the Foreign Press Center, New York.

“I am proud to be representing Nepal and just for the record I was nominated as a representative of Nepal by the American Center and this tour is the first of it's kind. Representatives have to be between the ages of 19 to 30, with expertise and experience in their respected fields with an outreach to the youth of their respected countries”, elaborates Prasan. “Well lets just say it's a pretty ambitious project that they have come up with and the whole tour is packed into around 14 days. This will definitely be an opportunity to share our views and culture with the rest of the World. My aim is to represent Nepal, it's youth and of course our Generation Next. I will be representing as a youth of Nepal, Youth in Media and also as a Human Rights Activist/Defender.

I'll be leaving on the 3rd of March. Will be in the states till the 31st of March even though the tour ends on the 18th. Extra few days I shall be spending with the Nepali community in America for a better understanding of the community. I will be arriving back to Nepal on the 18th of April. The last 18 days will be a personal trip in some Island in Asia......Yipeee!!!!”. Quote Unquote.
