Dear gaule_hero, if you justify killings of innocent people for winning a political battle, then why don't you hang yourself? Why don't you kill your wife, your mum, your brother and your children? That bloodshed could help to achieve your political ideology.

Gham-Pani ji ?
Of course I don?t condone killing of innocent civilians. If you read what I wrote, I said that the Maoists admission of the attack on the bus is ?tantamount to war crime.?

It is true that Maoists are kidnapping high school kids to serve as their foot soldiers and act as porters. How do I know? No, not from the RNA propaganda office but from personal ?experience? [present when incident happen] as well as reputed sources like the independent newspapers in Nepal and the UN. The UN has condemned LTTE-type recruitment of children by the Maoists. I also do the same.

In terms of RNA?s repugnant acts, I was not talking [at least in the last piece] about their killings of innocent civilians during the heat of a battle. Nobody knows what happens in the ?fog of war.? Moreover, I don?t believe what?s coming out Deepak Gurung?s mouth. Rather I was talking about RNA personnel going into homes at night and snatching innocent people, and like David Copperfield making them disappear into the air. Such acts are also ?tantamount to war crime.?

another_nepali ji ?
I don?t and I won?t justify killing of innocent people in political battle but it happens. Even the so-called ?just war? has incurred civilian casualties. Remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Remember Dresden?

What I am saying is that the Maoists movement is a political movement and their battle is political. Labeling them terrorist is too simplistic.

Nepe sir,

cool. Calm down. Look at the recent postings. As I wrote before,
they did not post the news of Pandit N. Pokharel's killing, they
did not post BRB's defense against Prachanda's name calling,
they don't post the news of Chitwan Bus Explostion......
They do post when Prachanda path do some prachanda job
on their favor.

Rest Later.

Nepe sir,

BTW,

I always enjoy your anger here in Sajha.com, Nepe sir. I like that.
I certainly like your leadership in Washington gathering against
KG's recent move. I do admire you. But, I do not like the way
NepaliPost.com is biased. Thats it.

I have recently observed, you have started using F4 word. Why?
Some peoples won't prefer to use it even under extreme situations,
at least at this age? Hehhehe, in America, age does not matter?
No, it matters in Nepali subjects.....

Dear gaule_hero, killings of innocent people in other wars do not necessarily justify killings of innocent people in Nepal. If you think maoists' movement is a political movement, then what do the words WAR and KILLING stand for? Do you want to remove the word POLITICS from the dictionary and to be replaced by the word WAR? If yes, then mankind does not need any more POLITICS.

Guru ji,

I did not know the power of swear words and joy of using it before, re kya ? ehehehe.

Anyway, Guruji now have changed the allegation. Before, it was allegation of being pro-Maoist, now it is of being not sufficiently anti-Maoist.

The previous one was a baseless allegation, a complete bullshit (Narisaunus hai, Guruji), the newer one may be a reasonable complaint.

If you ask me, I know the team of Nepali Post personally and I know they are sufficiently, in fact FULLY anti-Maoist. It's a small team with not much resources with them to run like a big magazine. (the team is too proud to ask for donations like other local media do. Once I was asking Girish why he is not claiming the donations that Sagarmatha TV and Radio Dovaan were receiving from ANA and INLS. You figure out his answer), to update frequently and keep themselves up to date.

I thought you must be aware of these shortcomings.

If you would like to volunteer yourself or help financially to hire workers to make Nepali Post more active and more covering, let me know, I will pass the kind news to the team.

माओवादी अध्यक्ष प्रचण्ड [ Terrorist Leader, killer prachande... how cheap you are... you kill innocent people for nothing....and how easily you apolozise with ur silly cheap words... I WISH I COULD KILL YOU..., IF SOMEDAY I HAD CHANCE TO SEE YOU... I WILL SURELY KILL YOU FOR THE SHAKE OF INNOCENT PEOPLE ...I WON'T EVEN APOLIZE FOR THIS KILLING YOU. THIS IS NOT A THREAT TO YOU BUT IT'S A REALITY ...U ALREADY KILLED TO MANY INNOCENT NEPALESE FOR NOTHING...SO NEXT TURN SHOULD BE YOUR'S OR YOUR FAMILIES]

घटनाबारे छानबीन गर्ने र त्यस्ता घटना दोहोरिन नदिने प्रतिबद्धता प्रचण्डको वक्तव्यमा व्यक्त गरिएको छ। [ FUk UP WITH YOUR WORDS... YOUR FAMILIES WERE NOT THERE IN THAT BUS]

[Sale chore haru ko nate dar haru tyes bas ma thiyena tyesaile gohi ko ansu bagayera ninda gardai chhain dubai jana]

Girija P. Koirala and Bamdev Gautam are having secret meeting in Delhi with such brutal killers. To achieve power our dirty leaders will not hesitate for any kind of negotiation with anyone. We nepali need to recognise our leaders and realise situation seriously and respond wisely if we want to protect our country and secure future of our coming generation.

Gaunle hero ji,
Yes usually a ruling parties almost always labels its rival as terrorists.
AND IN SOME CASES, ESPECIALLY IN OUR CASE, when the rival faction who in disguise of political party have actually gone in the extreme form of human rights abuse and practices the same absolutism that they 'claim'; rather laughably; finghting against and go on the spree of barbaric henious fatal crimes, forget about their enemy, but also on innocent defenseless victims; THEY ARE; LABELLED or NOT THE TERRORISTS. An inhuman at that one.

Frankly gaunle hero ji, the names you mentioned above were, even with the inclusion of Arafat and Begin, in my PERSONAL OPINION, is an unjustice to rationalize and compare with the movement led by Baburame and Prachande. They were leaders with character and they were for the people; their people. I fail to see even a remote similarities between them, apart from few misguided inhumanities on their enemies.

The terrorist functioning in our country are not just labeled terrorist for fun; it is becasue THEY ARE. Any twisting logic or knotted imaginative theories would be a gross injustice to the innocent departed soul. They did not die becasue they were enemy of the fanatics; they were KILLED, MURDERED irrespective of their innocence. I know the government of the despost and the political parties are not exactly anything to brag about, but these terrorists? oh please, give me a break. If you can hold your heart and say honestly, without jeri jasto ghumauro kura garera, just think straight for a moment then I bet you will get the answer. Yedi dekhna hunna bhane mero bhannu kehi chaina tyaspachi. Hass ta.

Jai Nepal,
Indisguise.

P.S: Ignore typos

Good answer indi bro. It is very sad to see anybody glorifying the terrrists outfit like maoists. IN our Nepalese society it seems there are too many educated fools. The one who forgot the basic reasoning of every law is to protect and serve people.

I cannot beleive when somebody argues maos are not terrorists. Gaule hero, some think for while analyze what maos done and others done. Maos are the worst. They are targeting the ones they claim to be fighting for. In case Arafat, he never targeted Palestanese.

No hope for peace with educated fools

IndisGuise ji, another_nepali ji, highfly ji, et al. -
I have NO intention of defending the activities of the Maoists. I can?t, period! All I am trying to do is to argue (1) the RNA ain?t that great either ? it is as brutal as the Maoists. (2) the Maoist problem that is plaguing Nepal is a political problem that requires political solution. If you label Maoists as terrorists then you are seeing them as a security problem that can ONLY be solved through brute force. But I do not think that there is a military solution to the current crisis in Nepal. I do however grant that military could have a role in pushing one side or the other to come to the negotiating table i.e. "war is politics by other means".

My guess is that, among the Nepali nagariks visiting gbnc.org, more than 90% are from Kathmandu or smaller towns. Most of them have never set a foot in a Nepali village let alone know the harsh realities of today. As for me, as my name says, I am a ?gaule hero?. I was in a Nepali gau only a couple of months ago after a 1-1/2 years gap. The changes I saw during the intervening time weren?t pretty. It was bad 2 years ago, it is worse now. The RNA is confined to district headquarters and few major bazaars. The vast swathe of hills and river valleys are empty where Maoists have free reign.

Once a student asked a finance professor ?if you are so smart, why aren?t you rich?. The same logic applies to the current crisis in Nepal. It is easier to make suggestions than to make things happen. We want the Maoists to lay down their arms and come to the political mainstream, we want Gyane to respect the constitution and rein his wayward, gunda son, and we want GK, Nepal, Deuba to be banished to Banarash and the political parties to bring in new leaders and to make solid commitment to political fair play and good governance. If these were to happen, won?t Nepal be wonderful!!!

Dear gaule_hero, looks you are confused and your views are inconsistent. I think you are a staunch supporter of maoist principle while being afraid of supporting maoist atrocities openly. Please remember one thing, You can NEVER justify killing of others to achieve your own political goal. Please don't use internet for distributing your violent agenda. Nobody needs that.

Gaunle Hero states"It was bad 2 years ago, it is worse now. The RNA is confined to district headquarters and few major bazaars. The vast swathe of hills and river valleys are empty where Maoists have free reign. "

Its easy to make a statement like the one above Gaunle...but did you ever ask the question why ? First of all the Landscape of Nepal makes it very hard to have the kind of mobility you are talking about for anyone(civillians, army, or the maos). If you look back people have always roamed those areas freely in the past, and the Mao's have simply taken over those areas. Besides the army or the police has never had to face such ARMED insurgents in the history.

GAUNLE STATES " It is easier to make suggestions than to make things happen. "

AND WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE BUDDY ? NOT RUNNING YOUR MOUTH ? PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH AND NOT BE A HYPOCRITE(we are all looking for the same qthing, which is the betterment of Nepal). EASIER SAID THAN DONE TO YOU TOO..HEH HEH

Gaunle hero ji,
You 'probably' do NOT have any intention to defend the terrorists ( Read : Maoists), but it's sad it 'appears' so. Perhaps, shady choice of words or the fragments; whatever the case may be, I am not accusing you of that per se; rather just remunerating on your opinons which you happened to state in a public forum. Nothing personal hai. That being said, let me move on to counter your statements.

You said:
(1) the RNA ain?t that great either ? it is as brutal as the Maoists
---> Your premise of this argument is correct; however that does not necessarily mean that your conclusion hit the bull's eye. In fact it can not be further from the truth.
Consider this statement; " Nepal is not that great either. It is as worse as Rwanda was."
(Needless to bring to your attention that close to, or just above a million people lost their lives in the genocide in 4 mths alone in Rwanda. Compare/ contrast at your wake. Are you gelling on what I'm telling?)

2) I agree with you analysis in this one. However as long as those douchbags do not realuze that they are nothing but a modafukin assholes what else is there? Especially if another asshole at helm does not want bulge either.

Gaunle hero ji, Yes, you must have first hand experience of ongoing situation having visited a village in Nepal, please do not assume that others have not visited those rural places. Now I hope you are not arguing on visiting and living are two different things. It is obvious, but even then, one can have enough knowledge of how difficult and painstaking it must be for the people back there. At this day and age; add to that the virtue of being born as a Nepalese, with many first hand informations, my take shall not be that far behind than that of yours. Even then, You must have more experience in this regard.

Contd..

You said;
"Once a student asked a finance professor ?if you are so smart, why aren?t you rich?.
--->Exactly. And I wondered why our very own Hari khadka (soccer player) never made to the european leagues. He is a smart, agile and talented player. Is he not? Hmmm... Maybe he was not THAT good. Really. Apply this logic.

Wait a minute, maybe there weren't anyone who would listen to him, and even if some remotely in-the-loop person vaguely mentioned his presence in the face of the world to the european legues ( hypothesis hai feri, using it as example), power that be either had no intention to listen, or assumed it was worthless. Whatever the case maybe, who's listening?????? ( alik hajmola khayera padnu hola mathi ko euro team and our hari ;) )
Prachande or Baburame??? Or Gyane?
Now take this, it is NOT easy to give them suggestions, simply because they do NOT want to listen to you or me or anyone. Bhanchan ni, "line le yedi lindainan bhane dinele matra garne ke; gyane, chor neta ra terrorists ko bich ma Nepal ama bachcha ke?"

You said;
"The same logic applies to the current crisis in Nepal. It is easier to make suggestions than to make things happen. --> By the way, was this a suggestion or just an opinion expressed gaunle hero ji? Hehe. Appealing though. You said it dude.

La hai ta.
