Hey JG:

Interesting narration!

I always wonder how you gonna end the story, and as usual, this time, you did it with great penmanship. By the way, how do you accumulate all of these literary inspirations? For me, even to write these few sentences is like going through a death sentence. LOL!

By the way, your writing reminds me of my visit to Savannah, few years back. I never had a chance to visit Louisiana, and also never had a chance to meet a person like Donna so far: however, I met several clones of Chuck (to fathom the reality-Ah,nice choice of words !!!)....

Thanks for sharing!

HD

John,
Mellifluous piece based on strong theme "womanhood" and its multiple roles. Kudos!

The way you adorn feminiety amazes me. After reading some of your previous compositions, I can tell that you must have bestowed upon with great women in your life.
Ofcourse, the ambience , New Orleans, has brought charater to enhance the story. There are millions of Chucks around, and there will be, no matter how liberal our society becomes. Chucks are within us.. aren't they? what does matter is the change Donna brings in the society and in those millions of Chucks.

Fill your days with smiles........

Sorry for the late reply guys...I had been busy,

Chipledhunga,
Give it a shot bro...I bet you write better.

vantage,
I am glad to hear from you...thanks for reading. Women have always been a source of inspiration for me, possibly because the fact that albeit being a weaker sex and more emotional than darker sex, they always strive to be more organized. My mother, my wife and my daughter have been of immense influence in my life and I would retain that impression forever.

Orientalgal,
Nice to hear from you...it is always good to make new friends here.

hakuna matata,
John
