Nepal is not a sovereign nation.

In America there are many people walking around. They look like they are free citizens in a country. Infact they are not. Many of these people are in heavy debt. Their credit cards are maxed out. They know where there money is going before it even goes. Such people may not be in prison. But they are not free.

Our nation Nepal is like that. Nepal is not a sovereign nation. When so many entities and nations hold the string to Nepal, how can it be seen as a sovereign nation? To say that Nepal is a sovereign nation is like saying that the puppet in the puppet master’s hands can make it’s own independent decisions. Nepal has many puppet masters in the form of international NGO’s, United Nations organizations and powerful countries. How can a nation with so many strings attached to it that are being held by so many external entities be considered to be free and independent?

Nepalese get angry with many nations, beginning with India, for having a grip on our nation’s throat. Nepalese get angry at the suggestion that we are dependant on other nations. And as much as their self-righteousness is admirable, without coming up with viable alternate solutions, in many ways, this is like biting the hands that feeds our nation.

As long as Nepalese keep directing their anger towards others that it is dependant on rather than understanding the cause of our dependency in a solution oriented way, there is no chance of progress.

Who agrees with what I'm saying?

i don't agree with u as its out of context topic, of course Nepal is a sovereign country, nobody controls our country, if u r talking about depending upon other countries and saying so many strings pull us like a puppet controlled by its master, its not true, we have to depend upon other countries for our well benefits, specially importing products from other countries. There is no way that u can complain about Nepal, cause its unfortunate that our country is even smaller than some states from United States, so u can't find coal, gold, oil, steel in Nepal. We don't have sea to produce salt, no big farms like in Midwest to grow corns and raise cattle's. so u know we are like very tiny country, feel good that we are surviving freely, right next to us are 2 big giants India and China, everyday pray to god that they won't take over us.

So Sunsheesh,

Despite all the things that you mentioned, you still feel pretty confident that Nepal is a free and sovereign nation? Interesting.

jptsamachar,

Your analysis and comment is so deep. Did you think of that by yourself? LOL.

I agree with Homeyji that we need to agree on the nature of the problem before we talk about the solution. Nepal is sovereign and free in name only.  Are you going to address the issue or are you going to make fun of me also?

LOL! Since you have made that clear to all of us. Don't you think you should analyze (think) before you comment?

Yes, I don't think that the fact that foreign entities have a bigger handle on Nepal's politics than the Nepali people themselves have on their politicians should be amazing to anyone.

Nepal is a sovereign; no doubt.
However we're bitches of Indian dictum and are slave to Chinese wishes.
And bottom-line we're all pussy...

Dimag Kharab,

1. Self-governing; independent : a sovereign state.

2. Having supreme rank or power: a sovereign prince.

3. A nation that governs territory outside its borders.

4. is not relevant for Nepal

3. is not relevant for Nepal

2. is not relevant for Nepal

1. Nepal is SINO

As Babal Khate said, if the acronym RINO stood for Republican in Name Only, Nepal is SINO - Sovereign In Name Only.
